Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says she wants legislation drafted with a maximum penalty of 14 years’ jail for ram raid offences after a spate of incidents on the weekend.

She told Katie Woolf the Chief Minister bungled the Police Commissioner’s exit strategy and needs to fess up on the settlement amount.

Ms Finocchiaro says the NT Government keeps “pouring money down the drain” with six pods for flood victims set up and then decommissioned in Pigeon Hole.
