Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says newly appointed CLP President Shane Stone is an experienced and passionate fighter who will put the party in a strong position ahead of the next election.

She told Katie Woolf she’s also confident in candidates Matthew Kerle and Clinton Howe who are in the running for CLP seats in Palmerston.

In response to claims by two former Prime Ministers that the NT is a failed state, Ms Finocchiaro says it’s Labor that has failed in government over two decades, pointing to the dismantling of community government.
