Chief Minister Eva Lawler says the Police Commissioner and other public servants are heading to Daly River amid ongoing unrest, adding that six youths have been arrested.

She told Katie Woolf it’s frustrating City of Darwin won’t commit funds to security patrols in the CBD, meaning the government will have to spend an additional $400,000 on it.

Ms Lawler also announced $43 million for the Holtze subdivision with tenders awarded for 550 housing lots near the Palmerston Hospital.
