A 19-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an aggravated robbery in Wagaman at the weekend.
It’s alleged around 12pm on Saturday (July 27), a man entered a business on Wagaman Place and assaulted a female employee before stealing her handbag.
It’s further alleged the offender handed the bag to two male youths who were waiting outside, before fleeing on a bike.

Police managed to arrest a 19-year-old man on Sunday (July 28), allegedly in possession of the stolen items.
The man has been charged with aggravated robbery and has been remanded in custody.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Trent Abbott says, “We would like to thank the public for coming forward with information that ultimately led to the timely resolution of this matter.”
