Chief commits to action on promises in 100 days if re-elected and $1.4 mil private security boost
NT Chief Minister Eva Lawler has touted her achievements in 250 days in the top job and has promised to deliver Labor’s election commitments within 100 days if re-elected, with crime the first priority.
Ms Lawler has also committed to a $1.4 million investment into private security in Darwin CBD and major shopping centres across the NT.
She told Katie Woolf she was shocked and surprised to learn the Principal of Yipirinya School had been charged with assaults against children.
The Chief says the NT’s animal welfare laws are under currently being reviewed following the sentencing of Adam Britton.
