Golf buggy stolen in Palmerston and five youths facing 93 charges over Darwin crime spree

Strike Force Trident’s Detective Senior Sergeant Dale Motter-Bernard says a 16-year-old girl is expected to be charged after threatening a golf player, stealing their buggy and crashing it in Palmerston overnight.

In relation to a Darwin crime spree, he told Katie Woolf two people were threatened with edged weapons and a total of nine businesses were broken into, with four 13-year-olds and a 22-year-old facing a total of 93 charges.

Senior Sergeant Motter-Bernard says Trident has been exceptionally busy, submitting 513 prosecutions since 1st July, with 283 relating to youth and 134 on bail at the time.
