Alice Spring MLA calls for the CLP to fix the judiciary system, appointing more conservative judges aligned with consequences

Member for Araluen Robyn Lambley says the judiciary system also needs to be fixed by the CLP Government to ensure future appointments are more conservative and aligned with consequences for criminal behaviour.

It comes after reports the teenagers allegedly behind a violent home invasion in Alice Springs had been charged with a combined 300 offences previously and bailed 35 times.

Ms Lambly told Katie Woolf the government has a magnitude of work ahead of it to turn things around after eight years under Labor, including closing the revolving door.

She expects the CLP will need six to 12 months to make changes.
