Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro says a $27 million infrastructure package for Alice Springs aims to improve livability, stimulate the economy and increase tourism.
She told Katie Woolf the money has been redirected from other projects and put to better use to activate the town and give kids more to do over the summer holidays.
Asked about the funding crisis for Legal Aid and major delays with finalising court matters, the Chief says about 10 different measures are being considered to improve the court system, which has also been neglected.
