Incoming Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro says Territorians voted for hope, optimism and change over the weekend and now it’s her job to deliver that.

She told Katie Woolf she met with the Police Commissioner and CEO of the Department of Chief Minister and Cabinet yesterday to get cracking on reducing crime and ensuring community safety.

Ms Finocchiaro says work is underway to bolster high-visibility policing, with bail reforms including Declan’s Law to be introduced in the first Parliament in about October.
