Labor calls for CLP to urgently roll out $180 million for domestic violence following landmark inquest

Opposition Leader Selina Uibo responds to the Coroner’s 35 recommendations following a landmark domestic violence inquiry saying the CLP Government needs to urgently roll out the $180 million it promised before the August election.

Ms Uibo told Katie Woolf the Coroner’s recommendation around the availability of alcohol is also key, but the CLP is moving to scrap the minimum unit floor price on grog during parliament sittings this week.

The Opposition Leader also said a number of community groups and MLAs are protesting against the CLP’s proposed Territory Coordinator outside of Parliament House this morning.
