Member for Lingiari Marion Scrymgour says parents need to be held responsible for youth offending and there needs to be safe places to take kids off the streets.

She told Katie Woolf offenders recently broke into her home through a window while her family was asleep, which continues to keep her awake at night.

Ms Scrymgour says she’ll speak to the Prime Minister and her Federal counterparts to look at what more can be done to save the NT and make people feel safe.
