Jessica Mauboy has released the song she will be singing at Eurovision, two months before she takes to the stage in the international song contest.
The upbeat pop song, We Got Love, was written by Mauboy in collaboration with DNA Songs duo David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii who also wrote Dami Im's Eurovision entry Sound of Silence in 2016 and last year's Australian entry, Don't Come Easy, sung by Isaiah Firebrace.
Both songs made it to the top ten of the competition, with Im's making it into second place.
Mauboy joins the majority of this year's Eurovision entrants who have also already released their tracks.
"I wanted to write a song that captured that instinctive sense of joy of how a great song can change the darkest of moods into happiness. We Got Love is also about how music can lift the human spirit. You can always rise above in the hardest times with something as simple as a great song," Mauboy said.
This will be Australia's fourth official entry into the competition following Im, Firebrace and also Guy Sebastian in 2015.
Mauboy will compete in the second semi-final which takes place on May 10, alongside entrants from 17 other countries. The final 10 from this semi-final, along with the final 10 from the first one, will join the "Big Five" countries - France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK - in the final which will take place on May 12 in Lisbon, Portugal.
* Eurovision will be broadcast on SBS from May 9-13, 2018.
