Police are calling for information after a quadbike allegedly hit a cyclist in Coolalinga.
Authorities say around 5.45 yesterday morning (April 15), a 72-year-old female cyclist was hit from behind by a quadbike on the Stuart Highway Service Road.
It’s further alleged the quad bike rider did not provide assistance or contact emergency services, instead fleeing the scene with another quad bike rider.
The 72-year-old cyclist has been transported to Palmerston Regional Hospital with significant bruising and leg injuries.
Any witnesses or those who have dash-cam footage are being asked to contact police.
