A 21-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged hit-and-run in Brinkin.
Authorities say the the man was conducting a U-turn at the end of a cul-de-sac shortly before 2am on Friday (April 19), when he drove over three people sleeping on the road.
It’s further alleged the 21-year-old reversed over the victims before fleeing the scene.

Police say the man handed himself in to Palmerston Police Station on Friday afternoon.
He’s expected to be charged with 3 counts of Hit & Run Causing Serious Harm.
All three of the victims have been taken to hospital for treatment.
