The man who allegedly killed an 11-year-old child with his car in Palmerston is facing four charges against him.
Police allege the 54-year-old driver was under the influence of cannabis when he allegedly struck the child at a supermarket carpark on Moulden Terrace.
The boy was visiting from interstate when the incident happened last December- just days before Christmas.

The driver been charged with dangerous driving causing death, careless driving causing death, driving unlicensed, and driving with prohibited drugs in his blood.
He’s due to front Darwin Local Court on May 31.
