QANTAS has officially launched it’s service between Darwin and Singapore with the inaugural flight taking off at the weekend.
The flight took off on Saturday afternoon (March 29), set to add more than 70,000 seats between Darwin and Singapore.
The flight will be operated by a Boeing 737-800 and will operate four times per week.

The route is hoped to provide a one-stop option to Asia and Europe, offering the fastest route for Territorians to London.
Minister for Trade, Business and Asian Relations Robyn Cahill, was on board the flight.
“The new flights will benefit locals wanting to travel overseas and also connect our ever-growing cohort of business travellers with international markets,” she says.
