Charles Darwin University vice-chancellor Professor Scott Bowman is on the way to Canberra to discuss the potential restrictions, explaining lower overseas student numbers could affect the NT’s labour workforce as well as the opening of the university’s new CBD campus.
He says the Territory Government has a goal of 10,000 international students by 2030, hence the $250 million investment into the CBD campus.
