A 36-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting an employee of the Katherine Library with a pencil.
Police say shortly after 3pm on Thursday (September 5), a man assaulted a worker at the library with a pencil before pushing her.
Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the alleged assault, apprehending the alleged offender on Katherine Terrace a short time later.

The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
