A 52-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident in Darwin.
Authorities say at around 10.30 last Friday night (April 12), a 29-year-old woman was assaulted with an edged weapon at a home in Wagaman.
Upon arrival paramedics found the woman with serious lacerations to her chest.

The woman was later transferred to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment where she remains.
The alleged offender fled the scene before the arrival of police, but was apprehended a short time later.
He’s been charged with one count of Recklessly endangering life and one count of Unlawfully cause serious harm.
