Police are calling for information from the public following an aggravated assault in Karama.
Authorities say shortly after midnight yesterday (May 20), a group of male youths attempted to gain entry to a youth care centre in the area.
It’s alleged a 34-year-old male employee approached the youths, before they assaulted him with an edged weapon.

The man received a small laceration to the arm following the attack.
The teens then damaged the employees vehicle before fleeing on foot.
Police urge anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to make contact on 131 444 and quote number P24136465.
