A major series is set to be filmed in the Top End!
The production of NCIS: Sydney will be heading to Darwin later this year as part of the Territory Government’s Screen Territory Production Attraction Incentive Program (PAIP).
NCIS is one of the world’s most successful television franchises with more than 300 million viewers globally across all platforms including broadcast, cable, streaming and syndication.
The production means Territory screen professionals will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the business.
Chief Minister Eva Lawler says productions filmed in the NT bring significant economic benefits for local businesses while also highlighting the Territory both nationally and worldwide.
“Major screen productions bring significant economic benefits for Territory businesses and assists in the expansion of the local screen sector whilst sharing the stunning Northern Territory to audiences from all over the world,” she says.
