“The Sign” is a new 28-minute “Bluey” episode that is four times as long as the average episode of Australia’s favourite family cartoon and we finally know when we can watch it.
The special is penned by Bluey creator and writer Joe Brumm, directed by Richard Jeffery, and produced by Ludo Studio.
Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti will reprise their roles as the voices of Bandit and Chilli Heeler. and it will screen here in Australia on Sunday April 14th from 8am AU-EST on ABC and ABC iView.
But that’s not it for Bluey fans as another normal sized brand new episode called “Ghostbasket” will also air a week prior to the special on April 7th.
The rest of the world will be able to experience the new episodes via Disney+ after the episodes air on Aussie TV at a later date.
It’s been a big year for Bluey with the launch of “Bluey the Videogame” that has just become available on the Xbox Game Pass service as well as available to buy on all consoles.
The world has really embraced the Aussie Cartoon Dog family and it shows in the stats. Since 2023, the series has racked up around 43.9 billion viewing minutes and is loved by kids and parents alike.
We can’t wait to see what a 28 minute Bluey Special look like on April 14th and wonder if its taking baby steps to get to a full length feature movie sometime in the future.
