The new biccie is helping a Queensland couple Stuart and Allison McGruddy, founders of ‘My Berries,’ who are on mission to save tens of thousands of tonnes of locally grown fruit from going to waste.
When big manufacturers chose imported ingredients, the McGruddys took a stand, freezing Australian fruit instead.
Now, Arnott’s has joined the mission, using 20 tonnes of their rescued strawberries for this limited-edition Sunshine Coast Strawberries and Cream Tim Tam.
Rebecca Chan, Arnott’s senior marketing manager for their chocolate range, says this new flavour is bursting with fresh strawberry aroma and a velvety creaminess that will keep you coming back for more.
“Beautifully sandwiched together between two iconic Tim Tam crunchy biscuits,” she said.
“We are confident that from the moment Aussies take their first bite, this flavour combination is sure to be the ultimate crowd pleaser”.
