The third film in the “Paddington” series has just dropped a trailer which we learn is called “Paddington in Peru”.
In the film Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. We last saw Aunt Lucy when she visited London at the end of the second film.
Of course, the Brown Family come along with a mystery that plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and to the mountain peaks of the country.
If you are yet to see the first two films, you might be surprised to find that they are two of the highest rated films on Rotten Tomatoes. The first with a score of 97% and the second an almost impossible 99%. To put that into perspective, Schindler’s List scores 98% and The Godfather scored a 97%.
They are seriously the perfect “family movie night” flicks and full of humour for both kids and adults alike.
The returning cast includes Ben Whishaw back as the voice of Paddington with Hugh Bonneville as Mr Brown, Julie Walters as Mrs Bird, Madeleine Harris as Judy Brown and Samuel Joslin as Jonathan Brown.
The role of Mrs Brown will be played by Emily Mortimer who takes over from Sally Hawkins.
We’ll also see Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Imelda Staunton will voice Aunt Lucy.
